Equine Adventures at Stardust
It's time for something different.
At Stardust Sanctuary, our equine programs are designed to go far beyond riding. Each class and experience is rooted in developing a deeper understanding of the horse–human partnership—how connection, communication, and mutual trust shape every interaction.
Students learn the essentials of care taking and responsible horsemanship while exploring the biomechanics that allow horses to move, balance, and respond to us with clarity and confidence. Whether a child is meeting a pony for the first time or advancing their skills, every step is built to nurture empathy, respect, and a meaningful relationship with our equine partners.
Our philosophy is that lessons learned at the ranch apply to the greater life experience and we hope to empower a future of capable & compassionate problem solvers ready to take on the challenges of life!

How-to Horse Workshops
Hands-on horsemanship for every age.
Stardust Sanctuary is excited to launch a new series of How-To Horse Workshops designed for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge, confidence, and hands-on experience with horses. These age-specific workshops introduce participants to the real skills behind responsible horsemanship—from understanding equine body language and safety to grooming, leading, tacking, and basic biomechanics. Each day is guided by experienced instructors who blend relationship-based training with practical horse-handling techniques, giving participants the opportunity to practice, reflect, and build their abilities in a supportive environment.
Whether you’re a young learner dreaming of working with horses, a teen hoping to build horsemanship skills, or an adult seeking a meaningful, immersive experience, our workshops offer an incredible foundation. Come spend the day learning how to connect, care, communicate, and partner with horses—one skill at a time.

Group Classes
Connection starts from the ground up.
Our group horsemanship classes offer a fun, supportive space for students to build real skills on the ground before ever stepping into the saddle. Through guided groundwork, obstacle courses, connection exercises, and movement-based activities, students learn how horses think, communicate, and respond to our body language. Each class focuses on developing balance, timing, coordination, and confidence—skills that directly translate to safe, connected riding in the future. Designed for all experience levels, these non-riding classes help students strengthen their partnership with horses while learning the foundations of thoughtful, relationship-based horsemanship.
Off-Site Support
Better communication where it counts.
Our Equine Program isn’t limited to the arena at Stardust Sanctuary. Laurie can also travel to your location to help you better understand your horse, improve communication, and work through challenges in a calm, supportive way. Whether you’re navigating groundwork, handling, trust-building, or “something just feels off,” off-site sessions meet you where you are—literally—and help you create lasting change at home.
