About the event

Horse Day: Learning, Care & Connection is a community celebration created to bring families, horse lovers, and the horse-curious together for a day centered on education, stewardship, and meaningful connection. Hosted by Stardust Sanctuary and generously sponsored by the Diablo Equestrian Heritage Association (DEHA), this event highlights the many ways horses enrich our lives while celebrating the people, professionals, and organizations dedicated to their care.

Throughout the day, guests will enjoy demonstrations, hands-on learning opportunities, and conversations with horse-centered nonprofits and equestrian professionals. From horsemanship and youth leadership demonstrations to connection-based problem solving with horses, Horse Day is designed to be welcoming, accessible, and inspiring for all ages—whether you’re new to the horse world or have spent a lifetime with horses.

Parking & Arrival

Guests are asked to park in the main parking lots at Heather Farm Park. From there, it’s a short walk past the community garden to the Equestrian Center…
