About the event

Emergency preparedness is not theoretical—it’s practical, physical, and often time-critical.

This preparedness day brings together experienced professionals to address one of the most challenging aspects of disaster response: evacuation, animals, and community readiness.


Participants will have the opportunity to learn from David from NorCal Horse Trailer Company, who will be on-site, walking through common mechanical and structural issues with trailers, safety and will be available to book follow-up appointments for full inspections. Proper equipment can make the difference between a safe evacuation and a dangerous one.


With over 30 years of disaster response experience, Robert Eichstaedt will share real-world insight from floods, fires, and large-scale emergencies. His background in search and rescue and leadership skills offer a grounded look at how communities respond under pressure—and how individuals can prepare to serve effectively when disaster strikes.
